Our Silver Series Adventures are tailored to the tastes of our more adventuresome clients who would enjoy experiencing our destinations in a more rustic setting. Traveling is done by semi-private transport, and on some occasions private transport is available.

Below is a suggested Silver Travel Series Adventure.

On the Footsteps of the Incan Emperor

DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN LIMA, PERU

Meet-and-greet at the airport. A personal guide and chauffeur will transfer you by private vehicle to the modern DOUBLE TREE HOTEL. Accommodations will be for one night, including breakfast, tax and service charge. The balance of the day will be at leisure to explore Lima at your own pace.

DAY 2 – FLY FROM LIMA TO CUZCO

Private transfer to the airport in time for your flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival, private transfer to the JOSE ANTONIO HOTEL.
Accommodations will be for one night, including breakfast, tax and service charge. Take a few hours to rest and adjust to the high altitude. In the afternoon, you will be taken on a guided excursion of Cuzco, the surrrounding ruins and the massive Sacsayhuaman Fortress.

DAY 3 – CUZCO / ALPINE RAIL EXCURSION TO MACHU PICCHU

After breakfast, private transfer to the train station for the 3 and one-half-hour alpine train ride to Machu Picchu, “Vistadome Service”. During your Peru-rail adventure, lunch will be served while you admire the beautiful scenery that the lands have to offer. Upon arrival in Machu Picchu, take a private guided tour of the ancient Incan city. Lunch is included at the SANCTUARY LODGE. Accommodations will be at the MACHU PICCHU INN for one night, including all meals, tax and service charge. The evening is at leisure to admire the beautiful Incan sunset.

DAY 4 – MACHU PICCHU / SACRED VALLEY

Dawn in Machu Picchu is PURE magic! Partake in the Inca celebration of life and energy! After breakfast, explore Machu Picchu at your own leisurely pace. In the afternoon, board the “Vista Dome” train to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Upon arrival, private transfer to the SAN AUGUSTIN DE GALLO HOTEL. Accommodations will be for two nights, including daily breakfast, tax and service charge.

DAY 5 – EXPLORING THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

Today, you will have to opportunity to either take a guided horseback riding tour of the Sacred Valley, or visit Pisac and the famous Indian Market.

DAY 6 – FLY CUZCO / LIMA / TO YOUR NEXT DESTINATION

This morning, after breakfast, private transfer to the airport for the flight to Lima. Fly to Lima. Upon arrival, private transfer to the DOUBLE TREE HOTEL, for the use of a “day room”. In the afternoon, take a guided tour of one of Lima’s beautiful museums, if time permits. Evening private tranfser to the airport in time for your flight back home. End of services.
